This weeks’s journal prompt has us starting with the traditional Buddhist Prayer for Compassion which begins, “May you be well. May you be safe.” etc. Deriving from it’s basic structure, we can make our own prayer for compassion.
To get started, think about the things you would wish for yourself now and in the future. What would you like to succeed at? What area in your life would you like to see more ease and less strife in? What are you longing for? What are the words of comfort you wish someone would say to you right now?
